Wow so thrilled to have my question answered, thank you both SO much. Absolutely loved listening to what you had to say. Jen it’s so refreshing to hear you say that one size doesn’t fit all and we get to create the business that we want. And that yiu intentionally keep your business a size that make s it manageable for you to oversee everything. Although Alex does sound invaluable. Sara fascinating to hear about your amazing right hand woman and what she does for you. So helpful to possibly think in terms of projects that may need VA or other support that it doesn’t have to be a paid employee. Just gave me lots to think about. Thanks again! 💕
I love hearing you both chat and this was no exception. My business is a country mile away from me needing to or affording to outsource, but you still made this episode so interesting and useful to listen in to (and I love how you picked a schedule that’s had the episodes going out on bank holidays so I can listen without it clashing with my day job!!) and although Sara shared lots of her experiences and Jen said she had less to offer, there is some kind of freaky magic in the way your conversations play off each other! Jen, your questions to Sara were just so helpful and valuable. I think the value in this for me might actually be in considering if I could be I provider of outsourced services myself... 🤔
hey Lovelies - thanks for this .. very timely as I `m at this very point and have been for ages - working out how to outsource.. I`ve worn so many hats since I can remember and just can `t take the business forward without getting that magical other person.. not an easy decision and employing people in France is compliqué. So as you say - getting it to work for me so I can get back on the creative side again rather than - in my case- churning garments out like a factory. So over it..and wasn`t the original plan either. I think the challenge is to be clear in my own head to then be clear to communicate what I want for the next person whether it be on tech side or practical..communication and strategy.. Sara you didn `t ramble - made total sense and was really good the way you both were able to share your experiences. Merci!!
Thank you Jen and Sara for another great episode! Sara mentioned in the podcast that you might list some of the courses and coaches you use, respect, and admire. If you have time for that, I would love to see it, as I’m sure would others! If you have time! :-)
Thanks Jen and Sara, I enjoyed this episode so much. I enjoyed hearing two different perspectives on the one topic. I’m at a point where I need to outsource and it scares the hell out of me. You’ve given me lots to think about and a clearer approach for when I do decide to take the plunge.
As a VA myself this was a really interesting listen. It made my think about how I could adapt working for creative & small business owners in the future . Thank you for a great episode!
Loved this conversation and these behind-the-scenes insights into how each of you runs your business in a way that suits your needs, health, and personality. So great to hear that there are so many options for runnings things and getting the support you need when you need it. I'm still developing ideas for my paid content on Substack so at a very early stage with things but always learn so much. Made me think about which jobs I really enjoy and which I'd rather pass on as soon as possible - anything to do with accounts, I'd happily give to someone else but the creative part is all mine! 😅 Listened in the car on the way to work this time - like a coaching road trip to start the day!
This was a great push for me to finally look for a VA, and even to strip off some overly burdensome data tracking that wasn't actually helping my business. I have a filter now: Does it need to be done? No - stop it! Yes - does it need to be done by ME? There's a lot in my business right now that only I can do, because of time and money, but I have selected a few tasks that would really push the needle forward on my business but don't require my specific skillset and knowledge. Thanks again for the gentle nudge to take this step!
Another great episode! I loved hearing both sides to this question, it was really helpful. I'm far from needing to outsource my business work, but this is really useful to listen back to in the future should I need/ want to outsource. Thanks again! 🥰

Such a great letter Denise that inspired a very inspiring conversation.

Hi Vanessa,
Id love to see the list too! Is there anyone/ any courses you'd recommend?

Always so helpful to hear different perspectives on the same topic

This was sans ramble & full of goodness. You two are a powerful combo. 🤍
